Infor wms to secure good freshness

About the Project

Arla Foods is a cooperative owned by 13,500 dairy farmers. Its products are sold under the well-known brands Dofino, Lurpak and Castello. Arla Foods is the fifth largest dairy company in the world. With a high demand on their product in Saudi Arabia and the construction of new state-of-the-art warehouses, Arla Food turned to SNS for the warehouse management solution.

The Infor WMS module proposed to Arla Foods will provide them with the ability to fully control their warehousing operations for Raw Material and Finished Goods as well as the links to production. Stock rotation is handled by the WMS assuring that no goods expire in the facilities. The WMS solution also comes with an integrated handheld application that guarantees real-time traceability in a paperless environment. Arla Foods will be able to identify production scrap and have a better visibility on their productivity and performance.

“We did our due diligence and research and found that SNS is the leader in WMS implementations in the region,” said Mukaram Ali Khan, Supply Chain Manager at Arla Foods. “From our discussions so far and the site visits we completed, we are confident that SNS will not only successfully implement the Infor solution but also help improve our operations.”

“When an international leading dairy manufacturer put his trust in your company, you cannot but feel proud of your team,” said Mario Ghosn, General Manager of SNS. “Our collaboration with Arla Foods has just begun but we are certain that it will move forward to a true partnership as it goes with all our customers.”
